Yes occasionally with some foreign organizations seeking suitable candidates for specific events based on recommendation of IKM

12.         Comments on the trends in polymer science:

Strong interest in elastomers in industries, particularly natural rubber finished products, plastics fabricating and down-stream petroleum-based latex and resin manufacturing activities. Emerging interest on applying nano science in NR products manufacturing; strong commercial interest in natural and synthetic latex gloves manufacturing. An international symposium on Polymer and Materials Chemistry was held in August 2007, Kuala Lumpur as part of the 12th Asian Chemical Congress which attracted close to 1600 participants.
