Where is Fukuoka?
Fukuoka City lies on the northern coast of the Kyushu island, the southernmost of the four main islands of Japan. Fukuoka is the economic, administrative and cultural center of Kyushu.
Getting There
From USA or Europe, you will find it easiest to enter Japan via Tokyo or Osaka and then take a connecting flight to Fukuoka. "Bullet Train" service is also available from either city to Fukuoka.
An Attractive Relaxed City
Fukuoka is a modern city, preserving still a lot of places of cultural and historic interest. As a venue for meetings, you can enjoy its good accessibility and modern facilities together with the Kyushu island as a whole. While Fukuoka offers all the conveniences of a major metropolis, visitors can relax in its leisurely pace.
